I know this is extremely old but I'll comment on it anyways.
I am a fan of tmnt (primarily 2003) and I loved Karai. She was a cool character but I think they over did it with her becoming the Shredder. I wished they made up some new villians or maybe reuse some from the 80s cartoon. What about H.A.V.O.C. I would've loved to see 2003 make their own adaption on the mutant group. I get the shredder is the turtles' arch nemisis but c'mon. It would be nice if he stayed dead already and they move on to something else (Karai becoming the shredder doesn't count in my book).
I have a one shot idea of Mikey blowing up at Karai. Raph sort of did it in Mission Gravity but he was pretty tamed all things considered. Mikey may be the youngest but he can be just as protective of his family as they are of him. He'd yell at Karai for playing ping-pong with their emotions and making Leo sad every time she returns to the shredder. They can't be sure whether to treat her as an enemy or an ally and the constant switching is very disorientating to the turtles. Mikey demands she makes a decision so they'd know where they all stand. Mikey is sick of pretending. Making his brothers, Leo in particular, suffer emotionally could get them and others killed. We never really see Don or Mikey mad all that much. Their tempers are more tamed but if they are triggered, it won't be the bigger brothers you have to worry about.
